W. Kent Corry is a native of Cedar City.
In addition to his law practice, he has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Accounting at SUU teaching Tax Accounting, Estate, Gift, and Trust Accounting, and Accountants’ Legal Liability. He has also taught Law Office Management and Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration in the Paralegal Program. Kent is licensed to practice law in Utah.
Outside of work, Kent enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Corry was an undergraduate at Southern Utah University and Brigham Young University, where he majored in Business, Accounting, and Economics. He graduated from law school at Utah University in 1971.
After graduation, he worked as an attorney for the Internal Revenue Service, first in Salt Lake City and then in New York City. He returned to Cedar City and opened a private law practice in 1976.
